The Washington Post is reporting that Huckabee finished 2nd with 18% of the vote in the Iowa straw poll today! This is a big win for him, considering the fact that very few people, even as of last week knew who he was. Huckabee's support gets stronger everyday as more and more people get a chance to hear from him. Ron Paul on the other hand is done - the darling of the anti-war MSM Paul was suppose to be the spoiler, with all of the media last week breathlessly speculating on what effect Paul might have on the straw poll while discounting both the other more conservative candidates in the field. I think the vote speaks for itself! Paul finished a distant 5th despite all of the free publicity and hype.
